We are now a participating shelter with the Dad's Have a Heart Program and that we are collecting UPC CODES from any variety and any size (except trial size) DAD'S Pet food at the front desk.

We are participating in an educational and environmental partnership program with Charitable Cartridge Recycling,
which is a fundraiser designed to help raise money for the Western PA Humane Society. Don’t throw away empty inkjet,
laser tonercartridges and old cell phones.  Send them to our shelter to help us earn money for animals in the shelter.

Any place of business can participate. Businesses pledge their empty laser and inkjet cartridges to the Western PA Humane Society
and we receive cash for each cartridge collected. A collection bin can be placed in any business, and our shelter will receive credit
for all cartridges from that business.Cartridge collection/drop off sites will be set up in the main entrance to the W PA Humane Society
North Shore Locations well as at our Fallen Timber Shelter in Elizabeth , PA.  Recycling makes sense, and it’s a great way to
raise money for the animals in need in our community.
