Missy    A087146 We have dubbed this cat "Hissy Missy." She hisses at EVERYONE she sees and that walks over to you for some petting and affection Missy is a very, very sweet cat. We think it's her way of saying hello. She loves to be next to you and receive strokes and sweet talk. Missy is one of our great senior cats (only 8 years old!) and is waiting for that perfect owner to take her home.

Lacey     A087562 Lacey had some nerve damage in her front leg and was unable to use. We amputated the leg and she is doing wonderful. She had been in a foster home but she is looking for that great, permanent home. Lacey is active, loving and enjoys other dogs. Cuddling is a favorite pastime and she loves to be with people. If you look up the word "shy" in the dictionary, you may see Cuddles' picture right next to it! Three-year-old Cuddles had been at the shelter for three long months when foster mom Carrie decided to foster her. She soon realized why Cuddles had been there so long . . . Visitors must have thought HER CAGE WAS EMPTY! She was hiding under her blanket all that time. For the first three days in foster, Cuddles did just that. No eating, drinking, or pottying--just hiding under the blanket. Just when Carrie began to worry about her kidneys, Cuddles came out, ate, pottied and explored. She let foster mom pet her under the blanket for the first week, then came out and rubbed against her. Progress was slow, but after four months in foster Cuddles now comes running for dinner, loves to get brushed, pet and played with. She is meticulous with her litterbox habits, and seems to enjoy the company of respectful female cats and kittens. Foster mom Carrie's 12-year-old male kitty is, however, giving Cuddles a hard time. Cuddles is quite frightened of him, even after Carrie has tried everything to help them to get along.  Cuddles needs a permanent, loving home with a patient cat lover who will give her the adjustment time she needs. The love and trust of a special kitty like Cuddles is so rewarding.   Are you the special person for this very special cat?
