Our shelters will be closed Saturday, July 4th, Open Sunday 10 - 5

We are an open door shelter and accept all animals.   On Thursday, July 2nd  we
took in 22 dogs, including one nursing dog with 9 puppies, and 42 cats and kittens.
Many of these animals were first taken to other area shelters but were directed
to our two shelters to take care of these animals.

We currently have 184 cats for adoption, 87 dogs and 33 other small animals.
There are many more animals that we need to process, vaccinate, evaluate and
care for until they can be made available.

Please consider adopting, fostering or donating funds to help us give as many a
chance for a new, permanent, loving home.

Being an Open Door Shelter means we accept all animals every day for 135 years.  We are proud of
our role in the community and are always looking to improve the concept and perception
of open door shelters. For more information please visit Open Door Shelters.
